Do You Actually Need Sales Calls?

Sales calls absolutely have their place.

As your business grows, your service becomes more expensive or what you're selling requires a bit more explanation, jumping on a call with somebody can make complete sense.

But I dont agree with the idea that every single lead needs to be pushed onto a sales call.

Especially when you're growing an online coaching business.

Sometimes a WhatsApp conversation is enough.

Sometimes a few voice notes are enough.

Creating Reels That People Actually Watch

Creating a Reel doesnt need to be complicated.

You dont need a cinematic camera angle.

You dont need 14 cuts.

You dont need to spend three hours editing it.

And you definitely dont need to turn every thought you've ever had into a 2-minute video.

You need a point. A hook. And a reason for somebody to keep watching.

The Levers You Can Pull When You Need More Clients

One of the most dangerous positions you can get into as an online coach is not knowing where your next client is coming from.

You need another client, so you post more.

Nothing happens.

You post again.

Still nothing.

Then you start questioning your offer, changing your bio, dropping your price or deciding Instagram just doesnt work anymore.

How To Create Lead Magnets That Actually Work

            Lead magnets are nothing new.

Coaches have been giving away free stuff for years.

            • Recipe books.

            • 7-day meal plans.

            • Home workout guides.

            • Training programmes.

Stop Letting ChatGPT Write Your Content For You

I use AI every single day.

So this isnt going to be one of those posts where I tell you ChatGPT is ruining content and you should never touch it again.

            It can save you hours.

It can help you organise ideas.

            It can help you research.

It can help you turn something in your head into something usable.

            Stop Writing Content For Everyone

One of the quickest ways to improve your content is to stop writing it for your followers.

            Write it for one person.

More specifically, write it for your DCP.

This sounds ridiculously simple, but its one of the biggest differences I see between content that feels generic and content that makes someone stop because they feel like you're speaking directly to them.

            You aren't addressing an audience.

You're having a conversation with one person.

            Your Bio Isnt About You

Your bio is one of the smallest parts of your profile, but its also one of the most important.

            Someone sees your content.

            They click your profile.

And within a few seconds they're trying to work out:

            Who is this person?

Is this page relevant to me?

Your Stories Should Be Doing More Than Resharing Your Latest Post

Stories are probably one of the most underused parts of an online coaching business.

And I dont mean coaches aren't posting them.

I mean they're not using them.

For a lot of coaches, the Story strategy looks something like this:

            Post a reel.

            Reshare reel to Story.

            START HERE: Your DCP

Before you start looking through content strategies, lead generation, offers, sales or anything else inside Axis Foundations, I want you to start here.

            Your DCP.

Theres a reason this is ground zero for every single business I work with.

I dont care if you've just qualified as a PT, you've got 10 online clients or you've been coaching for the last 10 years.

We start in exactly the same place.

Because before we can work out what you should post, what your offer should look like, where your leads are going to come from or how you're going to position yourself, we need to answer one pretty important question:
